JCDecaux rolls out virtual stores globally
JCDecaux has implemented multiple virtual store campaigns worldwide, utilizing digital displays and mobile technology for purchases and home delivery.

Out-of-home advertising company JCDecaux has expanded its virtual store concept, enabling consumers to purchase products and arrange for home delivery from public spaces.
The initial implementation was by Tesco's South Korean subsidiary, Homeplus, in Seoul's subway in June 2011. The campaign achieved success in South Korea, recognized for its innovative approach and online sales performance.
Through the virtual displays, customers could scan product barcodes or QR codes with their phone apps to order items and schedule same-day home delivery. Tesco Homeplus subsequently expanded this campaign to Seoul's streets in January 2012.
JCDecaux has since deployed similar virtual store initiatives in various countries starting from August 2011. These include campaigns for Yihaodian in China, Jumbo in Chile, Mall.Cz in the Czech Republic, LamSoon in Hong Kong, and Woolworth in Australia.
