JD Express launches thousand-yuan insured service for document shipments
JD Express has introduced a new service offering a thousand-yuan insured value for shipments of documents and certificates. The service includes separate sealing and dedicated envelopes or boxes during transport.

Chinese logistics provider JD Express has enhanced its delivery services for individual and corporate clients in Central Business Districts (CBDs).
The company is launching a new initiative that provides a free thousand-yuan insured value for shipments of documents and certificates. This feature aims to address concerns among business clients regarding the potential loss or damage of important documents during transit. The enhanced service also includes separate sealing and the use of dedicated envelopes or boxes throughout the transportation process.
According to JD Express, the upgraded CBD service covers the entire logistics chain, from pickup to transit and delivery. Uniforms for delivery personnel have also been updated to present a more professional image. For increased security, shipments of documents, certificates, and contracts can be individually sealed, with recipient identity verification conducted via SMS code and ID check upon delivery.
The company also highlighted its role as the sole logistics provider in China to directly sign employment contracts with all frontline staff, ensuring workforce stability and service professionalism. JD Express has deployed over 200,000 specialized envelopes and boxes to facilitate the secure transport of documents and certificates.
