JD Health has launched a new service providing real-time temperature tracking for pharmaceuticals requiring cold chain logistics. The service is initially available in ten cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.

The system utilizes intelligent insulated boxes equipped with temperature sensors that continuously record data throughout the delivery process. Upon completion of an order, customers can access the temperature history to verify that their medication has been kept within the safe range.

An integrated warning system alerts dispatchers immediately if the temperature deviates from the required parameters, preventing the delivery of compromised medication. JD Health states that temperature records for each delivery will be permanently stored for future reference.

The insulated boxes are constructed with professional thermal materials and pre-cooled to maintain a stable temperature between 2-8 degrees Celsius for extended periods. This advancement in pharmaceutical delivery is designed to enhance the reliability of the cold chain and ensure product quality.
