Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com has introduced the 3S series of 2.5-inch SATA Solid State Drives. These new drives are built using 3D NAND flash memory and are backed by a three-year warranty.
The series is available in four capacities: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Sequential read and write speeds vary across the product line. The 128GB model offers a sequential read speed of 530 MB/s and a write speed of 390 MB/s.
The 256GB and 512GB models achieve a sequential read speed of 540 MB/s. The 256GB drive has a write speed of 470 MB/s, while the 512GB model offers a write speed of 500 MB/s. The top-tier 1TB drive features a sequential read speed of 510 MB/s and a write speed of 500 MB/s.
Pricing starts at 129 yuan for the 128GB version, increasing to 219 yuan for 256GB, 389 yuan for 512GB, and 719 yuan for the 1TB model. Prices are subject to regional variations.
