JennAir and Cosentino Integrate Refrigeration with New Dekton Panels

Appliance manufacturer JennAir, known for leading kitchen design trends, and global surfacing leader Cosentino have introduced the JennAir x Dekton panels collection. These made-to-order panel systems aim to integrate refrigeration appliances seamlessly into the architectural expression of modern kitchens.

The new offering features five customizable Dekton panel options for select JennAir column refrigerators and wine columns, enabling designers and homeowners to achieve a continuous stone aesthetic throughout the kitchen. This aligns with a growing trend toward customization and monolithic designs, as homeowners seek refined spaces where appliances blend into the overall cabinetry.

"Appliances shouldn't feel like cold machines or in-the-way, they should be part of the overall design and support the look the designer and homeowner is going for."

Utilizing advanced cladding capabilities, the Dekton panels facilitate material fluidity, connecting cabinetry and countertops. The collection is produced in Dekton's ultra-durable, carbon-neutral ultracompact surface in a slim 4mm format. The material offers high resistance to stains, scratches, and heat, contributing to a low-maintenance kitchen. Valentin Tijeras, VP Global Product, R&D + Quality at Cosentino, noted that Dekton's composition allows for its application in complex uses like these integrated panels.
