Jersey Mike's Aims for IPO as Listing Date and Pricing Approach

Jersey Mike's Subs Inc., the popular sub sandwich chain, is nearing its initial public offering after beginning its anticipated IPO roadshow earlier this week. A roadshow is a series of presentations where a company's management meets with large institutional investors to generate interest in its stock offering.

The company, originally founded as "Mike's Subs" 70 years ago in New Jersey, is expected to trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "JMKE." The anticipated IPO share price is currently set between $21 and $25. Jersey Mike's plans to offer 43.4 million shares of its Class A common stock.

Jersey Mike's touts its use of high-quality ingredients and freshly prepared food as key differentiators, appealing particularly to younger consumers. The company also highlighted the diversification of its franchise ownership base in its filing with regulators. More than 330 franchise owners operate only one or two locations, reducing reliance on any single operator and mitigating brand risk from potential franchisee insolvencies.

In 2024, private equity firm Blackstone acquired a majority stake in Jersey Mike's. The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) named the company the No. 1 QSR chain in America in 2026.
