The Jiangsu High People’s Court has accepted a lawsuit filed by Jiangsu Muyang Group against several former executives, including Fan Tianming, and their affiliated entities. The case concerns the alleged diversion of corporate business to private platforms, a move that the company claims caused significant financial damage over more than a decade.

The litigation stems from a long-standing ownership dispute that began in 2008, when a key shareholder was coerced into selling his stake while in detention. That incident led to a series of legal battles that were eventually recognized by the Supreme People's Court of China as a notable case of wrongful property rights infringement. Following a 2024 court ruling that restored original ownership records, the current management is now pursuing restitution.

Previous court judgments established that the defendants systematically transferred Muyang Group’s contracts and revenue streams to separate entities, such as the FAMSUN group. The court found that these actions were intended to dilute the company's assets and diminish the influence of established shareholders.

By filing this suit, the group seeks to hold the former executives accountable for the misappropriated business interests. The outcome of the case is expected to determine the recovery of assets that were shifted away from the firm during the period of management instability.
