Jim Taylor's Car Collection to be Auctioned in New York

Broad Arrow Auctions is set to auction Jim Taylor's extensive car collection in Gloversville, New York, on October 14-15, 2022. The sale will feature more than 120 vehicles, spanning American, European, and British classics, as well as modern sports and supercars.

All lots will be offered without reserve, with the exception of a 1955 Jaguar D-Type. The collection includes significant marques such as Ferrari, Shelby, Jaguar, Bentley, and Bugatti. A notable selection of automotive ephemera, including rare neon signs and posters, will also be available.

Jim Taylor, the collection's owner, is a lifelong automotive enthusiast who has participated in events like the Mille Miglia and Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. He has also supported the automotive hobby and museums.

Key highlights of the auction include a 1955 Jaguar D-Type Sports Racer, a 1964 Shelby 289 Cobra, and a 1967 Shelby 427 Cobra. A 1937 Horch Model 853A Cabriolet A and a 1954 Cunningham C-3, both award-winners at Pebble Beach, are also among the featured vehicles.
