Jingdong JZ, a consumer electronics brand under JD.com, has introduced its new G70Pro smart door lock. This device incorporates palm vein recognition technology, alongside 3D facial recognition, fingerprint, password, and card access methods. It is priced at 1882 yuan, with a government subsidy bringing the price down to 1599 yuan in some regions.

The G70Pro features a dual-camera system designed for enhanced facial recognition, capable of identifying individuals within a height range of 1.2 to 2 meters and at a distance of 0.4 to 0.8 meters. It includes infrared night vision for low-light conditions, and the palm vein scan reportedly takes less than one second. The lock also utilizes a direct-insertion C-grade cylinder and is equipped with color screens on both the front and back.

Further enhancing its functionality, the smart lock supports AI-powered voice commands. Users can manage settings such as adding facial data, configuring passwords, and connecting to Wi-Fi using voice instructions. It also includes a feature that detects prolonged presence at the door, sending an alert to the user's app if someone remains for over 15 seconds. Additional security features include package monitoring, family messaging, and alerts for tampering or forced entry attempts.

The company aims to provide a comprehensive security solution for homes, integrating multiple biometric and access control technologies with smart features. Remote door unlocking for guests and the generation of temporary access codes for service personnel are also supported via the companion app.
