JLT Mobile Computers Launches JLT Insights Fleet Analytics Software

JLT Mobile Computers, a Swedish provider of rugged mobile solutions, has introduced its JLT Insights Fleet Analytics software. This new system is designed to gather and contextualize previously undocumented operational data from onboard sensors within the company's vehicle-mount terminals (VMTs).

The software aims to provide businesses with objective insights to evaluate and enhance their operations, with a focus on improving procedures, boosting safety, and streamlining logistics. By combining data points such as impacts with location information, companies can identify high-risk areas or operational bottlenecks. Similarly, combining impact data with timestamps can reveal issues related to workforce patterns or shift scheduling.

JLT Insights works in conjunction with JLT's vehicle-mount terminals, particularly the 6th generation JLT6012 VMTs. The system provides a dashboard that allows users to compare, contextualize, display, and disseminate real-time operational dynamics. The data includes insights into device IT health and Wi-Fi coverage quality.

Available on a subscription basis per device or vehicle for a three-month cycle, JLT Insights offers a 30-day free trial. The company emphasizes ongoing development of the software to align with market needs and hardware capabilities, with the goal of delivering increased return on investment and lowering the total cost of ownership for its customers.
