Jody Staggs Appointed CEO of Cedar Health Research
Jody Staggs has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of Cedar Health Research, bringing over two decades of experience in the life sciences industry.
Dallas, TX – September 24, 2026 – Cedar Health Research, a community-focused clinical research site network, announced the appointment of Jody Staggs as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 14, 2026.
Staggs brings more than two decades of experience in the life sciences industry and public company leadership. He most recently served as CEO of SWK Holdings Corporation, where he led the growth of its life science finance business and the transformation of its CDMO subsidiary.
Cedar Health Research operates five clinical research sites across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The company focuses on increasing access to community-based clinical research, particularly for patient populations historically underrepresented in trials. Recent expansion includes an embedded site within Texas Native Health in Dallas to improve trial access for Native American and Alaska Native patients.
