Joe Hinrichs Elected Goodyear Board Chairman
Joe Hinrichs has been elected as the new chairman of the board of directors for tire manufacturer Goodyear. He succeeds Laurette Koellner, who will retire.

AKRON, Ohio – Joe Hinrichs has been appointed the new chairman of the board of directors for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, effective October 7, 2026. Hinrichs, who joined the company's board in 2023, will also chair the Governance and Executive Committees.
Hinrichs most recently served as president and chief executive officer of CSX Corporation. Prior to that, he held numerous leadership roles at Ford Motor Company, including president of the Global Automotive Business. Laurette Koellner, who was elected to Goodyear's board in 2015, will retire at the company's 2027 annual meeting.

We are grateful for her many contributions throughout her more than a decade of service," Hinrichs stated. He looks forward to working with fellow board members and the leadership team to strengthen the company's competitive position and create long-term shareholder value.
