Johan Padel to leave Holmen's Wood Products business area
Johan Padel, Head of Holmen's Wood Products business area, has decided to leave the company this year. He will be succeeded by Karolina Svensson, currently Head of Business Development for Wood Products.
Johan Padel, who leads Holmen's Wood Products business area, will be stepping down from his role within the year. Karolina Svensson, currently the Head of Business Development for Wood Products, has been appointed as his successor and will assume the position on June 1.
Padel has been with Holmen for over 12 years, contributing significantly to the development of the wood products division and the company overall. CEO Henrik Sjölund acknowledged Padel's valuable contributions and expressed confidence in Svensson's ability to lead the business area, citing her deep understanding of Holmen's operations and culture.
Svensson brings extensive experience from various roles within Holmen, including Marketing Director for the Paper business area and Head of Group Strategy. Padel noted his close working relationship with Svensson, expressing confidence in his successor's ability to lead.
Padel will transition to the role of Chairman of Martinsons Byggsystem, a part of the Holmen Group. Sjölund highlighted that Svensson's fresh perspectives will be crucial for Holmen's continued competitiveness.
