Johanniter Ambulance Holds Summer Camp with Art and First Aid Training
Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. conducted its annual summer camp for children in Wackersdorf, featuring a week of activities including art, outdoor play, and basic first aid instruction.
Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. hosted its annual children's summer camp in Wackersdorf, offering a week filled with diverse activities. The camp aimed to provide both educational and recreational experiences for young participants.
Led by supervisors Bernd Fröhlich and Florian Seutter von Loetzen, the program included arts and crafts, outdoor games, and group activities. A significant component of the camp was a basic first aid course, where children learned essential life-saving techniques and practiced with bandages.
In addition to the practical training, children explored meditative relaxation exercises through Tai Chi with music. The camp also welcomed a visit from therapy dog Toni and his handler Conny Matz. The third mayor of Wackersdorf, Günter Pronath, attended the event and was shown the children's artwork.
Organizers reported a successful week, concluding a series of engaging and informative sessions for the participating children.
