Johanniter and Pflegeteam Harms Partner for Home Safety in Wiesmoor

Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe and Pflegeteam Harms have established a new partnership in and around Wiesmoor, Germany. This collaboration aims to enhance safety and independence for residents by combining Johanniter's home emergency call system with Pflegeteam Harms' local care services.

Rolf Harms, managing director of Pflegeteam Harms, expressed confidence in the partnership. "People are at the center of their (Johanniter's) operations, which is why I feel good about working with Johanniter. Their home emergency call service can be easily integrated with the care services we provide."

The cooperation allows individuals to receive prompt assistance at the push of a button. Upon receiving an alert through Johanniter's central monitoring station, Pflegeteam Harms staff will check on the client and arrange further help if necessary. This integrated approach offers a comprehensive service package tailored to individual needs.

Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe's Wiesmoor branch, active in the community since 1981, has recently relocated to Großefehn but continues its local operations. The organizations are also offering a four-week free trial of the home emergency call service from September 14 to November 2, 2026.
