Johanniter-Auslandshilfe, a German humanitarian organization, has significantly increased its international presence and aid efforts across various crisis zones in recent months.

The organization has initiated a new European consortium in Ukraine, focusing on providing assistance to individuals located within 0 to 50 kilometers of the front lines. This initiative aims to enhance support for civilians in proximity to active conflict areas.

Furthermore, Johanniter has reopened the Al Tayeb Health Center in northern Gaza. The facility is now equipped to treat up to 300 people daily, restoring vital medical services to an area that has faced substantial healthcare shortages.

The organization also highlighted its concerns regarding the impact of the war in Sudan on neighboring South Sudan during a conference in Berlin. Johanniter is calling for increased support for the emergency situation in South Sudan, driven by the influx of hundreds of thousands of Sudanese refugees.

In Lebanon, Johanniter has deployed emergency aid, backed by €300,000 in funding. Mobile medical teams are delivering care to internally displaced persons from southern Lebanon, while soup kitchens are providing warm meals. Recent efforts have also included expanding medical assistance in Gaza and offering medical and psychosocial support to Ukraine's civilian population amidst ongoing attacks and harsh winter conditions.
