Johanniter opens occupational therapy practice in Münster

Johanniter Unfall Hilfe is broadening its service portfolio with the opening of its first occupational therapy practice in Münster. The new practice will commence operations on Monday, October 5, at Straßburger Weg 107.

This marks the first practice of its kind in North Rhine-Westphalia to be led by Johanniter. The three-person team, headed by Diana Haubrich, will cover the full spectrum of occupational therapy treatments, with specializations in pediatric therapy, neurology, and the treatment of psychosocial and psychiatric conditions.

Regional director Markus Haubrich stated that Johanniter offers services beyond emergency response. "With this practice, we are significantly expanding our offerings into outpatient healthcare. This aligns with our mission as a provider of social and health services," Haubrich said. The practice is located in the Geistviertel district, near the Johanniter Academy and its senior living facility.

Diana Haubrich, who brings nearly 20 years of experience as an occupational therapist, will lead the practice. Her expertise includes Bobath therapy and specialized treatment for complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). She previously spent ten years as part of an interdisciplinary team for patients with chronic pain conditions and is currently training as a certified hand therapist.

Haubrich emphasized the importance of close collaboration between psychotherapy and occupational therapy for long-term patient support. Appointments can be booked immediately via phone or email.
