John Mayer to Perform, Chelsea Handler to Guest at Children's Institute Gala

Seven-time Grammy Award-winning musician John Mayer is scheduled to perform, and comedian, television host, and author Chelsea Handler will be a special guest at the Children's Institute's (CII) annual Cape & Gown Gala in Beverly Hills on November 8.
The evening will also feature the inaugural presentation of the Michele & Rob Reiner Champion for Change Award to actor Jamie Lee Curtis, presented by Jake Reiner.
Proceeds from the gala will support CII's programs, which provide early childhood education, mental health services, and family support to approximately 30,000 children and families across Los Angeles County annually.
The event also recognizes the legacy of Michele and Rob Reiner, who were influential advocates for children and families. Their civic leadership contributed to the establishment of First 5 California and the legal efforts for marriage equality.
