Johnson & Johnson reports 77% response rate for Rybrevant Faspro in head and neck cancer trial
A study of the drug combination Rybrevant Faspro showed a 77% overall response rate in patients with previously untreated advanced head and neck cancer.

Johnson & Johnson released data from a clinical evaluation showing that its investigational subcutaneous treatment, Rybrevant Faspro, achieved a 77% overall response rate in patients with advanced head and neck cancer. Of these participants, 65% maintained their response at the time of the clinical data cutoff.
The regimen targets both EGFR and MET pathways, which are identified as significant drivers of tumor progression in these cancers. By combining amivantamab with hyaluronidase-lpuj, the treatment aims to provide a more efficient administration method compared to traditional intravenous infusions.
These findings provide support for the company’s ongoing Phase 3 trial, which is evaluating the efficacy of the drug in a first-line treatment setting. The clinical data suggests that dual-targeting therapy may offer a viable alternative for patients facing advanced disease, though further results are required to establish long-term survival metrics and safety profiles.
