Athlete Jonas Deichmann has set a new world record by completing 106 consecutive full-distance triathlons over 106 days. The challenge, which began on May 9, 2024, concluded on September 6, 2024, on the course of the DATEV Challenge Roth.

Each day's feat involved a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km run. In total, Deichmann swam 402.8 km, cycled 19,080 km, and ran 4,473.2 km. His estimated calorie expenditure over the entire period was one million calories.

Throughout the challenge, Deichmann's body required up to 14 liters of fluids daily. He was supported by numerous individuals who joined him for various segments of the course. On the final day of the record-setting effort, approximately 300 supporters ran with him to the finish line.
