Jörg Franzke Appointed President of Scania USA

Jörg Franzke has been appointed President of Scania U.S.A., Inc., effective May 16, 2022. He succeeds Håkan Sterner, who is returning to Sweden after five years leading the U.S. operations.

In his new role, Franzke will oversee Scania USA's operations. He has been with Scania since 1995, gaining experience in various positions including services, truck sales, research and development, network development, and quality management. Most recently, he served as Head of Power Solutions at Scania Germany for the past decade.

Franzke will relocate from Frankfurt, Germany, to San Antonio, Texas, which serves as Scania USA's headquarters. He will reside there with his wife.

The appointment comes as Scania USA continues to expand its industrial distributor network and introduce new engine technologies to the North American market.
