Joy Metrics Adds Rewards to Boost Clinician Engagement

Joy Metrics, a provider of predictive workforce intelligence, has introduced expanded Rewards & Recognition features to its platform. The aim is to bolster clinician engagement with recommended interventions designed to mitigate burnout and reduce turnover.

The new capabilities incentivize clinicians to complete microlearning, continuing education, and skill-building activities. These are intended to address fatigue risks proactively. Data from the company's previous Burnout Prevention Program® showed over 10,000 nurses participating and completing more than 50,000 microlearning sessions. Among participants, 86% reported applying learned strategies, and 52% experienced reduced burnout symptoms.

Healthcare organizations using Joy Metrics can now allow clinicians to earn points for completing assessments, microlearning, and professional development activities. These points can be redeemed for gift cards, charitable donations, or cash, if the organization opts in. Joy Metrics integrates with Tremendous for rewards distribution or can connect to existing employee recognition programs.

"The biggest challenge isn't giving clinicians access to resources. It's getting them to come back and use them," said Greg Coticchia, CEO of Joy Metrics. "Rewards & Recognition gives them one more reason to keep investing in themselves."
