J.P. Morgan Taps Thunes for Global Payment Streamlining

J.P. Morgan has partnered with payments technology firm Thunes to enhance its global payment processing capabilities. Thunes' network provides access to over 12 billion bank accounts and mobile wallets across more than 100 payment corridors.

The new solution, named XPedite Remit, is designed to streamline international transactions for clients. This collaboration expands J.P. Morgan's offerings, addressing the growing demand for faster and more efficient cross-border payments.

Thunes Co-founder and CEO Peter De Caluwe commented on the partnership's significance, emphasizing its role in facilitating smoother global commerce. The company specializes in real-time international payments in emerging and developed markets.

This announcement was part of the New York Stock Exchange's (NYSE) pre-market update, which also featured other financial news, including Adobe's projections for e-commerce growth and developments in oil prices.
