J.P. Morgan to clear USD transactions seven days a week

J.P. Morgan is expanding its U.S. dollar (USD) clearing services to operate seven days a week, responding to increasing demand from financial institutions for continuous processing in the digital banking era.

The transition will occur in phases, starting with an extension by one additional day per week in the third quarter of 2022. Full seven-day-a-week clearing is expected to be operational by 2023. This change aims to enable faster money movement and earlier processing of book transfer wires.

The expanded service is anticipated to benefit clients significantly, particularly those in the EMEA and Asia Pacific time zones, where round-the-clock clearing can streamline cross-border transactions.

J.P. Morgan operates as the marketing name for the Wholesale Payments business of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., offering products and services subject to applicable laws and terms.
