JPMorgan and Syfe Launch New Income Portfolio
Singapore-based digital wealth platform Syfe has launched a new investment portfolio in partnership with JP Morgan Asset Management. The Income+ Max portfolio aims for monthly payouts.

Singapore-based digital wealth platform Syfe launched Income+ Max on October 12, in collaboration with JP Morgan Asset Management and two other exchange-traded fund managers. The portfolio is now available to users on Syfe's platform.
The multi-asset portfolio invests in equities, bonds, and gold. It also aims to generate income by selling call options on some of its equity and gold holdings. Syfe states that the strategy targets monthly payouts at an annualized rate of 8% to 10%, while cautioning that these payouts are not guaranteed and do not imply positive returns.
Industry observers note that such covered call strategies can increase income through option premiums, but may also limit upside potential in rising markets and provide only limited downside protection in downturns, as investors remain exposed to the underlying assets.
Syfe states the portfolio expands its Income+ range and targets investors facing low dividend yields, concentrated stock markets, and volatile trading conditions. The launch coincides with a growing trend in covered call exchange-traded funds in parts of Asia, including Hong Kong, driven by demand for higher-yield income products.
