Juhaokan streaming service to integrate with China's four major video platforms

The Juhaokan content service is expanding from television screens to integrate with iQIYI, Tencent Video, Youku, and Mango TV.

4 November 2026

Juhaokan, a content distribution service originally focused on television broadcasting, is expanding its reach to include China's four primary streaming platforms: iQIYI, Tencent Video, Youku, and Mango TV. This move aims to establish a unified distribution network that covers both large-screen home television and mobile devices.

The service will shift from a purely pay-per-view model to include membership-based revenue sharing and ad-supported monetization options. For content creators and copyright holders, this integration eliminates the need for fragmented negotiations across different provinces and individual streaming platforms by centralizing the authorization process.

Launched in June 2026 under the guidance of China's National Radio and Television Administration, the platform prioritizes dramas, short films, and web series, while also accommodating documentaries and animated works. The integration enables synchronized release strategies across all supported hardware.
