Jula announces new retail location in Härnösand

Jula Holding, through its subsidiary G&K Blanks Fastigheter, has acquired property at the Ankaret retail park in Härnösand. The group plans to open a new Jula department store at the site by autumn 2026. This move is part of the company's broader effort to increase its market share across northern Sweden, a region the group identifies as a key growth area.

Concurrent with the Jula expansion, the real estate division is redeveloping the Ankaret site. Current projects include the construction of a new retail unit for Intersport, positioned alongside existing retailers such as ICA Maxi. Building permits for the conversion and expansion required for the new Jula location have already been filed.

According to management, the development aims to consolidate Ankaret's position as a regional retail hub. The project includes provisions for additional commercial space, which the company expects to attract further businesses to the area.
