Jula announces new retail store in Pori
Retail chain Jula is continuing its expansion in Finland with plans to open a 3,000-square-meter store in Pori this coming autumn.
Swedish retail chain Jula is expanding its footprint in Finland with a new store location in Pori. The facility, measuring approximately 3,000 square meters, is expected to create around 20 local jobs, with recruitment set to begin in the spring.
This project aligns with Jula’s broader growth strategy for the Finnish market, which aims to open approximately five new stores annually to achieve nationwide coverage. Since launching its first Finnish location in Vaasa in 2022, the company has maintained a rapid pace of expansion across the country.
The Pori store will offer an assortment of roughly 15,000 products focused on home improvement, gardening, and leisure activities. Jaakko Soini, Jula’s country manager for Finland, stated that the company expects the new store to enhance the retail appeal of the Mikkola district while catering to local consumer demand.
Jula operates as a major retail chain in Northern Europe, maintaining stores and e-commerce operations in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Poland, and Austria.
