Julien's Auctions to Sell Sompote Sands Ultraman Collection

Julien's Auctions announced it will offer the personal collection of Sompote Sands, a prominent figure designer and collector, in a public auction for the first time.

The auction, titled "Kaiju King: The Sompote Sands Legacy Collection," celebrates the 60th anniversary of the influential Ultraman franchise. The collection features rare Ultraman promotional flying miniatures, designer statuettes, masks, production costumes, and figures.

Sands' collection provides a comprehensive look at the history and visual evolution of the Ultraman series, which first premiered in 1964. Items include original artwork, props, and memorabilia accumulated over decades.

The auction is expected to draw international collectors and fans of the Kaiju genre. Julien's Auctions will host the event in Los Angeles, with online bidding available for a global audience.
