K Group and Wolt Expand Fast Grocery Delivery Network
K Group and Wolt are expanding their fast grocery delivery cooperation across Finland. The service now covers 40 locations and up to 5,000 products from K-Market stores.
Helsinki – K Group and quick commerce platform Wolt have expanded their partnership to create a more efficient network for fast grocery deliveries throughout Finland.
The service is now available in 40 locations through 127 K-Market stores, offering a selection of up to 5,000 products. Delivery times can be as short as 10 minutes. The companies aim to have approximately 160 K-Market stores offering the service by the end of the year.
"Together with Wolt, we have successfully created a completely new market for fast grocery deliveries in Finland. The K-Market chain's extensive network of local stores enables fast deliveries from Helsinki all the way to Rovaniemi. Customers have welcomed the service, and demand is growing rapidly," said Ari Akseli, President of Kesko's grocery trade division.
Fast deliveries are playing a significant role in the growth of online grocery sales, with K Group reporting an upturn in its online grocery sales during the third quarter. The company is committed to continuous development of its online grocery services.
"Our cooperation with Wolt has been successful and will be further expanded," Akseli added.
