Kaiping Launches Turntable with Detachable Speakers

Chinese electronics manufacturer Guangdong Kaiping Electronics Co., Ltd. has introduced the HP-H004 turntable, a device aimed at both novice and experienced vinyl enthusiasts. The unit is notable for its inclusion of detachable speakers, offering enhanced flexibility and ease of use.

The HP-H004 aims to streamline the vinyl listening experience by providing an all-in-one solution. It features a solid MDF base and a substantial iron platter designed for stability and resonance reduction. The turntable is equipped with an Audio-Technica AT-3600L moving magnet cartridge and a lightweight aluminum tonearm. An integrated preamplifier and shock-absorbing feet to minimize vibrations are also included.

The accompanying speakers are designed with 2-inch 8Ω10W tweeters and 4-inch 4Ω30W woofers, allowing for separate placement to optimize soundstage. Additionally, the turntable offers Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, enabling wireless streaming of digital music from smartphones or tablets, effectively allowing the unit to function as a Bluetooth speaker.
