Logistics equipment provider Kalmar has delivered specialized forklifts to Stolt Tank Containers' facility on Jurong Island, Singapore. The depot handles significant volumes of ISO tank containers containing hazardous materials.
Two heavy-duty DCG 160-12 forklifts were retrofitted by Kalmar, replacing the standard lifting forks with a container spreader. This modification addresses the site's space constraints and workshop height limitations. The collaboration between Kalmar and Stolt Tank Containers has spanned over a decade.
Michael Tsai, Depot Manager at Stolt Tank Containers, highlighted the importance of the partnership for safety and reliability. "Kalmar’s team provides reliable after-sales services that meet our safety and on-time delivery requirements," Tsai stated.
