Kalmar Extends Equipment Service Agreement with Holmen in Iggesund

Kalmar has signed an extension to its service and maintenance agreement with Holmen's production site in Iggesund, covering operations for Holmen Board and Paper and Holmen Wood Products. The agreement was booked in Kalmar's second quarter 2026 order intake.

Under the extended contract, Kalmar will continue to provide comprehensive service and maintenance for the entire site. This includes responsibility for a mixed-fleet of approximately 130 units, comprising forklifts, terminal tractors, cranes, and wheel loaders.

To ensure high equipment availability, Kalmar is implementing a structured, preventive maintenance regime aimed at guaranteeing operational readiness year-round. The partnership will also focus on continuous operational improvements within the workshop using LEAN principles, alongside a strict emphasis on maintaining a safe working environment. Furthermore, Kalmar will utilize digital tools to proactively optimize the fleet's uptime and support Holmen's transition towards sustainable cargo flows.
