Kalmar Launches New Gloria Range of Reachstackers

Material handling equipment manufacturer Kalmar has launched its new Gloria range of reachstackers, designed to improve operational efficiency and operator comfort in port and terminal environments.

The new Gloria series, including the DRG450-1300 models, offers a wider selection of lifting capacities and attachments to meet specific operational needs. Kalmar states the machines can handle tasks ranging from moving fully laden containers to shifting wind turbine segments weighing up to 130 tonnes.

The vehicles are equipped with an updated EGO cabin designed for improved operator ergonomics and safety. Additionally, they feature enhanced component integration aimed at reducing maintenance needs and extending service intervals, along with integrated digital monitoring services. Kalmar, which has been manufacturing reachstackers for over 40 years, highlights its global service network.

Kalmar indicates that these advancements also aim to reduce carbon emissions and increase machine availability. The company, established in 1968, has over 11,000 reachstackers operating in more than 160 countries.

The Gloria range represents Kalmar's continued innovation in material handling to meet demands for productivity and reliability in the global market.
