Kalmar Reports Record Order Intake and Solid Sales Growth for 2025

Kalmar Corporation reported a successful financial year 2025, achieving a record order intake despite prevailing market uncertainties and trade tensions. The company saw a notable increase in sales and profitability, concluding the year with a robust performance in the fourth quarter.
For the full year 2025, orders received reached EUR 1,817 million, an increase of 8 percent from the previous year. Sales grew by 1 percent to EUR 1,741 million. The comparable operating profit improved to EUR 223 million, representing 12.8 percent of sales. The company's order book stood at EUR 977 million at the end of the year, marking a historical high.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, orders received increased by 5 percent to EUR 511 million, driven by several large equipment orders. Sales saw a significant 11 percent rise, totaling EUR 487 million. Comparable operating profit for the quarter was EUR 60.5 million, up from EUR 53.1 million in the same period last year, with the margin increasing to 12.4 percent.
Kalmar also reported improvements in its operational efficiency through the "Driving Excellence" initiative, securing approximately EUR 34 million in annualized gross efficiency improvements. The company's financial position strengthened, with interest-bearing net debt reducing significantly. The Board of Directors has proposed a dividend of EUR 1.09/1.10 per share for the financial year 2025.
Looking ahead to 2026, Kalmar expects its comparable operating profit margin to exceed 12.5 percent. The company continues to invest in future-oriented solutions, including advancements in electrification and charging technologies.
