Kalmar, a manufacturer of port automation and equipment, is set to participate in TOC Europe 2023, held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from June 13-15. The company's primary focus for this year's event is facilitating the transition to fully electric cargo handling operations.

During the exhibition, Kalmar will feature demonstrations and introduce two new products. Company representatives will also discuss alternative fuels and clean technologies in the conference's Sustainability Theatre. Lasse Eriksson, Head of Green Technologies at Kalmar, is scheduled to speak on zero-emission cargo handling solutions.

Additionally, Aki Heikkinen, Sales Director of Horizontal Transportation at Kalmar, will present a collision warning system for straddle carriers in the Safety Village. Kalmar is also planning a product launch on Wednesday, June 14, focusing on powering the ports of the future.

The company's presence at TOC Europe will include daily demonstrations covering various aspects of port operations, such as its Li-ion powered electric forklift trucks, AutoStrad solutions, and the Kalmar Insight equipment management system. These presentations aim to highlight Kalmar's contributions to promoting sustainable and efficient port operations.
