Kalmar has secured a significant order from Patrick Terminals, a leading container terminal operator in Australia. The order includes 10 Kalmar Hybrid Straddle Carriers and 12 Kalmar AutoStrad machines equipped with hybrid technology.

The 10 hybrid straddle carriers will be deployed at Patrick Terminals' Melbourne facility, while the 12 hybrid AutoStrads will operate at its automated terminal in Sydney. The order was booked in the second quarter of 2026, with deliveries expected to conclude in the second quarter of 2027.

Patrick Terminals handles over 3.5 million TEUs annually and operates four advanced terminals across Australia, including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Fremantle. This acquisition supports the company's ongoing decarbonisation efforts.

"This order represents a further step in the 10-year strategic partnership between Kalmar and Patrick Terminals," said Michael Jovicic, CEO of Patrick Terminals. "The Kalmar AutoStrad plays an important role in our operations, and this order will further our strategy of delivering superior value to our customers."
