Kalmar to supply two electric reachstackers to Steinweg
Kalmar has received an order for two electric reachstackers from C. Steinweg - Handelsveem B.V. in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The delivery is scheduled for Q1 2027.

Kalmar, a global provider of material handling solutions, has confirmed a new order from C. Steinweg - Handelsveem B.V. for two Kalmar electric reachstackers to be delivered to Rotterdam, Netherlands. The order was booked in Kalmar's Q2 2026 order intake, with delivery scheduled for Q1 2027.
To ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability, the order includes a Kalmar Care service contract providing on-demand support. This agreement guarantees long-term technical support and maintenance services tailored to the customer's operational needs, alongside access to genuine Kalmar parts. A MyKalmar INSIGHT subscription is also included.
The new electric reachstackers will be deployed at Steinweg's multipurpose and breakbulk terminals to support daily cargo handling operations and ensure safe and efficient terminal performance. Steinweg currently utilizes a diverse Kalmar fleet, including forklift trucks and existing reachstackers.
The partnership between Steinweg and Kalmar spans four decades. Steinweg cited the quality of Kalmar's service and product reliability as key factors in their decision, highlighting trust built over many years. This order represents a continued commitment to fleet electrification and reducing environmental impact, with Steinweg already exploring further electrification of their heavy equipment with Kalmar.
