Kanadevia Corporation, a Japanese company, has announced a partnership agreement with Oman's Bahwan Engineering Company LLC (BEC) to collaborate on the development of green hydrogen projects within Oman. The agreement establishes a framework for joint efforts in the burgeoning low-carbon fuel sector.

The collaboration will span all phases of project development, including tendering, design, procurement, manufacturing, and distribution, for projects involving green hydrogen and e-methane. Kanadevia will contribute its core expertise in water electrolyzer stacks, the heart of its hydrogen production systems, while BEC will bring its extensive local engineering and construction experience and strong customer base. Together, the companies aim to provide enhanced solutions for Oman's rapidly expanding market for low-carbon fuels.

Kanadevia is already involved in Oman through methanation projects, including work with Oman LNG LLC on transforming captured CO2 into e-methane using green hydrogen. The company is also scaling up its electrolyzer stack mass production facility in Japan to reduce costs and increase supply capacity.

This strategic alliance is expected to advance Kanadevia's global expansion in decarbonization initiatives and contribute to the realization of a sustainable energy society.
