Kanadevia Group Accelerates Green Hydrogen Business Expansion in Oman
Kanadevia Corporation has signed a collaboration agreement with Bahwan Engineering Company LLC to develop green hydrogen projects in Oman.

Osaka, Japan – Kanadevia Corporation has entered into a collaboration agreement with Oman's Bahwan Engineering Company LLC (BEC) aimed at developing green hydrogen projects within the Sultanate. This partnership establishes a framework for cooperation across all project development stages, from bid preparation to engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and sales of low-carbon fuel projects, including green hydrogen and e-methane.
The collaboration seeks to leverage Kanadevia's core water electrolysis technology with BEC's extensive local engineering and construction expertise and client base. The objective is to provide enhanced solutions for Oman's rapidly growing market for low-carbon fuels.
Kanadevia is also expanding its hydrogen production capabilities in Japan. The company is constructing a mass production facility for water electrolysis cells in Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture, with the goal of reducing costs and increasing supply capacity through large-scale manufacturing.
Furthermore, Kanadevia is involved in metanation projects in Oman. The company has a contract with Oman LNG LLC to conduct technical verification and engineering work for one of the world's largest commercial metanation plants. This facility will convert captured CO2 into e-methane (synthetic methane) using green hydrogen.
