Kanadevia Corporation, based in Osaka, Japan, has entered into a partnership agreement with Oman's Bahwan Engineering Company LLC (BEC) to establish cooperation in the development of green hydrogen and e-methane projects within Oman. The agreement encompasses all phases of project development, from bid preparation to engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and sales for low-carbon fuel initiatives.

The collaboration aims to leverage Kanadevia's core water electrolysis stack technology, central to its hydrogen production systems, with BEC's extensive local experience in construction and engineering, and its established customer base. This synergy is intended to deliver enhanced solutions for Oman's expanding low-carbon fuel market.

Kanadevia is also actively involved in methanation projects in Oman, including a contract with Oman LNG LLC for technical verification and engineering work on what is planned to be one of the world's largest commercial methanation plants. This facility will convert captured carbon dioxide into e-methane using green hydrogen.

In Japan, Kanadevia is constructing a mass production facility for water electrolysis stacks in Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture, to reduce costs and increase supply capacity. The company is also investing in a hydrogen fund as part of its broader strategy to expand its hydrogen business globally.
