The King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) is participating as the National Partner in the 25th WPC Energy Congress, held in Riyadh from October 11-15, 2026. Over 20 KAPSARC leaders, researchers, and experts are contributing to the congress's executive, technical, synergy, and special programs.

The congress, themed 'Towards an Energy Future for All,' is being held in Saudi Arabia for the first time. It convenes government officials, business leaders, policymakers, researchers, and innovators to examine the factors redefining global energy systems, from security and investment to technology and sustainability.

KAPSARC experts are contributing research and policy expertise on energy supply and demand, energy access, natural gas, ESG criteria, carbon circular economy, artificial intelligence, and emissions reduction in refining and petrochemicals. The center is also hosting a 'Knowledge Sprint' session on leveraging generative AI for oil market analysis and policy research.

KAPSARC is further engaging in discussions on carbon capture technologies and accelerating the carbon circular economy. The center's pavilion offers a space for knowledge exchange and engagement, showcasing research and expertise in areas such as oil, clean energy, and AI. KAPSARC's participation aims to connect Saudi research and policy expertise with international debates on energy security, investment, technology, and sustainability.
