Guerbet, a global specialist in contrast agents for medical imaging, has appointed Karim Boussebaa as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective February 2, 2026.

Guerbet, a global specialist in contrast agents and solutions for medical imaging, announced the appointment of Karim Boussebaa as Chief Executive Officer, effective February 2, 2026. The decision was made by Guerbet's Board of Directors following a recommendation from the Nominations and Compensation Committee.
Boussebaa brings over 25 years of international experience in the healthcare and medical technology sectors. Prior to joining Guerbet, he held executive positions at leading companies, where he spearheaded transformation, innovation, and growth initiatives in medical imaging and medical devices.
His background includes leading complex operational environments and uniting teams, qualities the board believes will be instrumental in implementing Guerbet's strategy and enhancing its performance. "Karim's arrival reflects the Group's desire to strengthen its operational and strategic management and to accelerate the company's adaptation to a demanding and rapidly evolving market environment," stated Chairman of the Board Hugues Lecat.
Boussebaa expressed his enthusiasm for joining Guerbet at a "pivotal moment in its history" and contributing his expertise to the group's development. The Board also thanked Jérôme Estampes, who served as interim CEO, for his commitment. Estampes will resume his role as Group Chief Financial Officer. Guerbet is scheduled to release its 2025 revenue on February 5, 2026.
