Karin Frauscher appointed CEO of i:FAO AG
Amadeus IT Group has appointed Karin Frauscher, formerly leading Finance and Controlling for the EMEA region, as the new CEO of its subsidiary i:FAO AG. She replaces Bernd Schulz.
Karin Frauscher has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of i:FAO AG, a technology provider specializing in corporate travel and expense solutions. Frauscher joins i:FAO from Amadeus IT Group, where she most recently served as the General Manager for Finance and Controlling for the EMEA region.
Frauscher takes over the leadership role from Bernd Schulz, who is departing the company to pursue new opportunities elsewhere. Schulz is recognized for his contributions to the growth of the business travel sector.
Alongside Frauscher's appointment, Alexander Schott has joined as General Manager of i:FAO GmbH. Schott, a long-standing member of the i:FAO leadership team, previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for 17 years. His responsibilities will encompass commercial operations, customer service, and product development.
i:FAO AG is based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and focuses on technology for corporate travel management. Amadeus IT Group holds an 88.7% stake in the company.
