Karndean Finance Team Accelerates Reporting with Board AI Agents

Karndean Designflooring has enhanced its reporting and analysis capabilities by implementing Board's AI agents, including the Controller Agent and FP&A Agent. This initiative aims to reduce time spent on manual data investigation, allowing finance leaders to act more decisively on insights.

Charlotte Roberson, Group Finance Manager at Karndean, highlighted that the agents operate directly within the Board platform, providing instant access to data without cross-system transfers. This streamlines data integrity checks and validation, freeing the finance team to concentrate on higher-level analysis, such as inventory movements or cash flow variations.

The agents assist in identifying the drivers behind performance changes and rapidly generating explanations for reporting and decision-making. Roberson noted that the tool can save up to one or two days per week, enabling faster and more reliable information delivery to the company's management.

Board's AI solutions are designed to embed artificial intelligence directly into financial planning, consolidation, and reporting processes. This empowers finance leaders to ask questions and receive immediate answers, thereby improving the speed and accuracy of their decision-making.
