Katrin, a brand within Metsä Group, has launched a new dispenser solution for folded hand towels that is designed to be compatible with most folded towels on the market. The 'Freedom of Choice' dispensers aim to reduce waste and offer users flexibility in their choice of paper towels.
The dispensers are described as efficient, easy to refill, and feature clear visibility of the paper level. The design of the dispensing openings and a patented adjustable guide system in the Hand Towel XL model allow for various folding types, tissue thicknesses, and panel widths to be used.
Katrin offers the dispenser in three sizes: XL for locations with high visitor traffic such as shopping centers and sports arenas, M for medium-traffic areas like offices and restaurants, and S for smaller spaces such as cafes.
The system is intended to reduce costs and environmental impact by allowing flexibility in paper towel selection. Users can switch to different towels based on availability or price changes, extending the dispenser's lifespan and minimizing plastic waste.
