KBR, Inc. has been awarded a $539 million engineering task order to facilitate the rapid prototyping and deployment of systems for the U.S. Air Force’s Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) program. This initiative focuses on adapting national space assets for tactical use to meet evolving military operational requirements.

Under the terms of the agreement, KBR will provide engineering support across several technical domains, including geolocation tracking, sensor fusion, cyber warfare, and real-time data analytics. The services are intended to improve situational awareness and operational capabilities for special operations and broader air superiority missions.

The contract will be executed over the next five years, primarily in Colorado and at various international locations. KBR has maintained a role in the TENCAP program since 2018. The task order was issued through the General Services Administration’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center.
