KBR Awarded $64 Million Contract for Defense Testing and Training Expansion
KBR, Inc. has secured a $63.9 million task order from the U.S. Department of Defense to enhance military testing and training capabilities.
HOUSTON – April 27, 2020 – KBR, Inc. announced it has received a $63.9 million task order from the Department of Defense (DoD) Test Resource Management Center (TRMC). The contract aims to develop interoperability solutions to expand the U.S. military’s testing and training capabilities.
KBR will leverage its test and evaluation (T&E) expertise to assess and address requirements for incorporating additional test range sites into the DoD's existing T&E infrastructure. This initiative is designed to streamline and enhance the integration of testing and training capabilities for DoD weapons systems.
The company's work will involve developing hardware and software solutions to meet the military's T&E needs. KBR is expected to help the DoD improve range interoperability and facilitate the effective reuse of resources.
