KBR Awards Employees for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment Excellence
KBR, Inc. has presented its annual CEO Award for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) excellence. The awards recognized an individual employee and a team for their outstanding contributions.
KBR, Inc. announced the recipients of its 2018 CEO Award for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) excellence. The awards highlight outstanding performance in maintaining high safety standards and fostering a strong safety culture within the company.
William (Billy) McPheat, based at KAF2 in Kandahar, Afghanistan, received an individual award. McPheat was recognized for his seamless integration of HSSE principles into daily supply, warehousing, and procurement operations. His tenure as manager has seen no recordable incidents.
The Djibouti Project Team at Camp Lemonnier was honored with the team award. The team achieved over 19.1 million work hours without a lost-time incident across two Base Operation Support (BOS) contracts. They have also been instrumental in implementing safety initiatives such as "Courage to Care" and "Total Safety Task Instructions (TSTI)".
KBR President and CEO Stuart Bradie presented the awards, emphasizing the company's commitment to safety. KBR continues to prioritize the well-being of its employees and the environment across all its global operations.
