KBR, Inc. has reached a significant milestone, accumulating 17 million man-hours on energy projects operated by BP in the Caspian region. The company has been engaged in multiple phases of BP's developments for a continuous 18-year period.

The work encompasses various phases of BP-operated developments, including the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) oil fields and the Shah Deniz (SD) gas field, which are among the world's largest offshore hydrocarbon resources. KBR's involvement in these multi-phase projects, covering both offshore and onshore activities, began in June 1997.

The endeavor has been a global effort, with numerous KBR employees from offices worldwide, including London, Baku, Houston, Singapore, and Jakarta, playing a role. The initial contract between KBR's predecessor and BP was signed in 1997.

As a leading engineering, procurement, and construction company, KBR's continued work on these complex projects highlights its capability in managing large-scale, long-term international endeavors. The ongoing partnership with BP underscores KBR's expertise in both offshore and onshore energy infrastructure.
